Hi, I’m Angi Milano

I’ve spent 15+ years on both sides of the fintech fence: from traditional banking to (real) cutting-edge startups.

My journey began in banking, where I learned everything about financial services.

Working in roles ranging from finance to credit investigations, I found my innate ability to understand people’s needs and create tailored solutions.

I wasn’t just selling products, I was stepping into my customers’ shoes and asking… What’s in it for them?

Say Hi!

Where was I? Ah, yes. I then…

Transitioned into digital marketing and digital channels, where I honed my skills in evaluating and purchasing fintech solutions.

My ability to connect led me to digital marketing and FinTech sales, where I refined my consultative skills. I thrived on learning the intricacies of new industries and identifying market gaps.

Going through 6 acquisitions taught me how to nail down strategy for maximum impact.

I’ve finally gone on my own and founded Maven Advisory.

Today, I help fintech startups stop worrying about sales. My people-centric and strategic approach allows me to align tech solutions with real-world business needs, turning challenges into wins.

Fintech founders come to me when they’re stuck, whether they need to connect with the right financial institutions or work on a winning go-to-market strategy.

And Chicago is one of my two homes.

I don’t believe we should always “win”, failure and disappointment give you scrappiness, grit, and gratitude needed to really thrive in startups and in life.

I love shark movies. The more ridiculous, the better. Love them, I’ve seen so many, it’s like a disease.
